Why Ningbo
Zhejiang is one of China’s main regions for mops and microfibre textiles. Working from Ningbo means factories can be visited in a day and samples can be measured in person rather than judged from photos. It is also the port most of these goods leave from.
Why mop refills
They are bought again every month, they are easy to get slightly wrong, and a slightly wrong refill costs a distributor a customer. That is exactly where careful measurement is worth paying for.
Why a coordinator
A distributor ordering a few thousand refills is a small customer to a factory. A coordinator on the ground carries the spec, the follow-up and the pre-shipment check that small orders usually go without.
